Finding a Therapist: Types of Therapy
While mental health is becoming less taboo to talk about, due to stigma, many people are not privy to therapy for how to even begin the therapeutic process. Fortunately, we are here to provide you information about therapy such as the types of therapy and where to find providers of color. Going to therapy has many benefits such as gaining insight about yourself, learning new skills to navigate your life more effectively, or just having someone to talk to about any issues in your life. However, it’s important to remember that no matter what type or therapist you choose, sustainable change will happen when you’re motivated!
