Psych Me Out’s mission is to bridge the gap between Black people across generations and all things mental health. Our vision is to improve the Black community’s quality of life by inspiring individuals to care for their psychological well-being.
Psych Me Out was founded upon three core values: education, community outreach, and acceptance.

Education
Psych Me Out strives to teach the Black community about foundational mental health concepts and tools to cope with stressors while aiming to work towards destigmatizing mental health treatment.

Community Outreach
Given the scarcity of mental health resources widely known throughout Black generations, Psych Me Out hopes to collaborate with community organizations to provide resources and education.

Acceptance
Decreasing the stigma towards mental health is an ongoing goal within the Black community. Psych Me Out aims to increase the acceptance of mental health struggles, the acceptance of others’ identities, and the acceptance of acknowledging and seeking help.
